Device is now under new ownership, with the business being sold to Jason Light, the Owner/ Director of the Finnco group of companies.
This exciting change of ownership took place on the 28 March 2024 and the business name will change to DeviceCo Pneumatics Limited. The new company has relocated to Unit 4/33 Nga Mahi Road, Sockburn.
There will be many advantages for our customers with DeviceCo Pneumatics becoming part of the Finnco Group. There will be additional pneumatic products, in-house pneumatic cylinder manufacturing, automation, compressor sales and service and several other new services soon to be announced.
The DeviceCo team that you have become familiar with over the last 23 years will remain with the new company.
Mike Reid, who has been with us for 15 years now, will be promoted from his current General Manager role to the Christchurch Branch Manager of DeviceCo Pneumatics. The clear intention of Jason and Mike is to grow the business and of course the relationships we have with our customers.

- We will research the market and locate the best product solution, even if this is not a brand we are familiar with. As long as we are able to support the warranty we are happy to provide this as part of the system.

- One of the most valuable contributions we make to our customer’s business is the problem solving skills we provide. Our skills in this area are drawn from many years experience in a variety of industries and include the ability to provide practical yet cost effective solutions.
- We can design your circuit, specify the components, install the equipment and commission the project. You get one contractor to do the entire job. We will also follow up with engineering support.
- We can also undertake special modifications to machinery and pneumatic products to suit your applications and incorporate any new and updated technology.

We are not under any pressure or influenced by sales targets often demanded by distributer contracts.

Our scope of supply also extends to products outside the standard range offered by most pneumatic suppliers. These products include specialised vacuum products and corrosive resistant pneumatic components.
